Modi - a model of good governance

Modi's happening state

One would find that Gujarat has emerged as one of the better governed stated with a chief minister who focuses on better governance. It reminds me one incident before elections in Gujarat . One journalist posed a question to Modi "What are the achievements of your government?" To this Modi replied, "Instead of asking this question to me, wouldn't it be better if you aske the same thing to the common public, experts in political, economic and industrial fields?" One would find that today Gujarat is the first amongst the most industrialized states in India . Under Modi's leadership local and foreign investments have seen geometric progression in the state. The people of India should be of proud that Gujarat has produced a second Sardar Patel. In the words of Navjot Singh Siddhu , I would say "Agar ullu ko din mein nahin dikhta hai, usme Surya Dev ka kya dosh ?" (It's not the Sun's fault if an owl can't see in the daytime.) There's no doubt that Modi has very definite ideas of what development should be, and that he has pursued these with an almost missionary zeal. Modi's familiar slogan "I am a CM, I was always the CM and will always remain a CM (Common Man) " will keep Gujarat booming.

One finds that Modi has turned Gujarat into a "happening state" with his development policies. This has happened only because of Modi's precise, distinct, direct, and disciplined use of words and his honest belief in whatever he says. Sanskrit caption on the Narendra Modi's personal website says :

suryasya pashya shremaaNam yo na tandrayate caran || caraiveti |

Look at the Sun's perseverance; dynamic and always on the move, never dormant : hence keep moving. By signing the agreement to set up the Nano Plant in Gujarat Modi has shown that action always speak louder than words. This is the reason, A wide cross section of the people of Gujarat , cutting across religions, income groups and political affiliations, continue to adore Modi as an able and visionary leader. An astute politician, a skilled orator and a deft negotiator. He has already earned the love and affection of the people from villages and cities alike which makes him a rare leader of the masses but now the whole country applaud him for his dynamism which he showed in bring the Nano project. Gujarat is popularly known as "Vibrant Gujarat". Now with the arrival of Nano's project in Gujarat it will again successfully put Gujarat back on the road to progress and prosperity.

Narendra Modi is one of the most responsive political leaders in India . He wants Gujarat to become a "first world" State. His mission is just one "Gujarat ki seva [service to Gujarat ]. Hence the attempt today to equate Gujarat 's development with Gujarati asmita (identity) and Gujarati swabhiman (self-respect). He knows that "Gujaratis are emotionally attached to their State and it can be converted into an inspiration to do better."

One would find that Modi believes in the fact that good infrastructure is the driver of economic development. He therefore, paid utmost attention on physical and social infrastructure and involved private sector in their development. His good governance with an astute administrator is being applauded within the country and beyond. The way he has won the hearts of people of Gujarat and his popularity will further boost his image.

In the words of CM Narendra Modi I would say that for Gujarat , it was like a son walking out of his father's home. I would like to point out that Sanand in Gujarat is a main centre on this corridor. The image of Gujarat is great in world but Modi wants a city as its showpiece and TATA's Nano will bring that status to Ahmedabad. Nano will only act as a channel to make Gujarat into a hub of the auto industry. Today Gujarat is known for chemicals and pharmaceuticals but now it will also be known for its engineering industry.

Modi has re-oriented and re-organized government's administrative structure, embarked upon a massive exercise for reconstruction of infrastructure, recreation of the business environment and rejuvenation of the traditional entrepreneurial spirit of Gujarat that successfully put Gujarat back on the road to progress and prosperity. Gujarat is now popularly known as "Vibrant Gujarat".

Modi has the capacity to convert every adversity into an opportunity. His model of good governance is being applauded within the country and beyond.
