Rajkot allotted 2nd ODI: Vishakhapatnam match cancelled

By ENN, Ahmedabad: The second one-day match between host India and Sri Lanka will be played at Rajkot on December 18 as the tie earlier scheduled at Vishakhapatnam has been cancelled due to law and order problems.

The first one-dayer is scheduled at Rajkot tomorrow. Players of both teams had already reached the city.

Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) sources said the second one-dayer will be played at Rajkot as the police authorities in Vishakhapatnam had expressed their inability to provide security cover due to the ongoing agitation against the formation of a separate Telengana state.

Tight security measures have been made in Rajkot city for the one-day matches.
